The 2024 Rich River Rod Run was held from Friday 15/03/24 to Sunday 17/03/24 in the Echuca Moama area.
Friday night's Meet and Greet BBQ was held in perfect conditions with local singer Darcy Rammage keeping entrants entertained. Saturday morning had entrants filling up our Pancake Breakfast before heading off on a Poker Run to Rochester. The town of Rochester was badly flooded with 90% of homes inundated along with the majority of businesses. Rich River Rod Run entrants packed out the town and supported the traders who have managed to bounce back and reopen with all extremely thankful for the support.
Saturday evening saw the Historic Port of Echuca area filled with Hot Rods, Customs and Chrome Bumper classics cruising around and enjoying a meal out at one of the many pubs and restaurants. The Detonators were playing at the Bridge Hotel helping bring the vibes.
Sunday was our monster family Show and Shine at Jack Eddy Oval in Moama with more than 500 cars on display. We managed to get The Detonators up and about early playing some great tunes, there were Camel Rides and lots of trade stands to keep the whole family entertained. Come Presentation time along with our well deserved Trophy Winners donations were made to the Rochester Neighbourhood House, Echuca United Football Club, and the Echuca Moama Little Athletics Club.
